Neville's Island is one of the most famous non-Ayckbourn plays to have emerged from the Stephen Joseph Theatre. It was Tim Firth's first full-length play and helped propel him to early writing success. He has since become a significant writer for stage and screen and is well known for his film, play and musical Calendar Girls amongst many others. Tim has worked with the SJT frequently and is a great advocate of its support for new writing.
